Cypress Springs Panther Varsity had trouble keeping up with Stratford in a 20-4 loss on Thursday.
Stratford scored eight runs in the sixth inning. Tab Tracy, Leonard Maass, Bryce Calloway, and Mark Perkins all drove in runs in the frame.
Tyler Zyroll took the win for Stratford. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one-third of an inning, walking zero. Marshall McDuffie and Joey Cobb entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Terry Burrel took the loss for Cypress Springs Panther Varsity. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking zero.
Paxton Terveen started the game for Stratford. He allowed four hits and two runs over two innings, striking out two
Josh Rodriguez, Derek Salazar, Brandon Salazar, and Eduardo De Leon each collected one hit to lead Cypress Springs Panther Varsity.
Stratford racked up 12 hits. Perkins, Jackson Ware, Alpard, and Tracy all managed multiple hits for Stratford.
